Out of the Abyss

After months trapped in the Underdark, the adventurers defeat the purple worms and finally emerge from a mountain cavern into open air, awestruck by their first sight of the sky and sunlight.

The party ventures into a purple worm tunnel to steal valuable eggs but awakens a giant and two massive purple worms, leading to a desperate battle.

The adventurers, fresh from slaying the Demogorgon, receive powerful gifts from Thumberchaud the dragon and set out with a dwarven guide toward the surface, only to be tempted into the perilous hunt for purple worm eggs deep in the Underdark.

The adventurers, aided by wild magic and an ancient red dragon, battled and ultimately defeated Demogorgon in the harbor of Gracklestugh, saving the dwarven city and earning its people’s gratitude.

The party convinces the indolent red dragon Thumberchaud to face the Demogorgon at Gracklestugh’s harbor, joining him in a brutal, city-shaking battle that could decide the fate of the Underdark.

The party wiped out the invisible Grey Ghosts in their warehouse, uncovered a hidden tunnel into Gracklestugh, forged an uneasy alliance with a mad alchemist, and slipped through a secret canyon door in search of Thumberchud the red dragon to rally against the looming threat of Demogorgon.

The companions storm a clandestine Gracklestugh warehouse, battling waves of invisible duergar and unleashing tempestuous magic as they press toward a secret stairway deeper into the Grey Ghosts’ lair.

The party arrived at Gracklstugh’s docks, slew a rampaging two-headed stone giant to protect fleeing civilians, earned the gratitude of dwarf merchant Werz Saltbaron, and agreed to settle his debt with the Gray Ghosts in exchange for clandestine passage beyond the city’s guarded walls.

The party escaped a chaotic kuo-toa sacrifice, confronted the towering Demogorgon long enough to realize it was unstoppable, and fled across the Darklake toward Gracklstugh to seek dwarven allies for the battles ahead.

The adventurers escape a sacrificial ritual in a chaotic fish-folk village, only to witness the terrifying rise of Leemooggoogoon from the depths of the Darklake.
